This year, one half of our family spent Easter on Cape Cod and the other in California. And, yes, the California half DID feel that earthquake! Our family will converge for the first time in two weeks this Saturday. Nothing worthwhile ever comes without sacrifice. We miss each other, yes, but, this is a perfect opportunity for all of us to grow. What a beautiful thing our faith is!
More swinging. Couldn't seem to get enough of it!
On Good Friday, while we made the Stations of the Cross (outside), I took great comfort in knowing that even though our family is apart, the Lord is with us. Even though 3000 miles seems so far. It isn't. God is with us directing our paths.
During those late hours at night, I can know that the boys are under the same stars. That the reflections and prayers go out to the good God who has created us in His own image and likeness.
That is where the title of Catholic Moonlight in Vermont was born. In those late night hours, when mothers and fathers awake to think, ponder, and to pray. Know that in those hours I am praying for you dear friends and family. And...that He is listening, comforting, and answering.
