Glorious Saint Michael,
guardian and defender
of the Church of Jesus Christ,
come to the assistance of His followers,
against whom the powers of hell are unchained.
Guard with special care our Holy Father,
the Pope, and our bishops, priests,
all our religious and lay people,

Saint Michael,
watch over us during life,
defend us against the assaults of the demon,

I'm so glad you posted this novena! I will pray for your intentions - please pray for mine.
My husband is out of work again, (this mortgage industry is awful) so he's looking for something else. In the meantime we have to break our lease because we can't pay rent, and we'll be living back with my parents in a little "out-building" (don't worry it's actually in better shape than this house we're renting at the moment, we just found a 4 in wide hole in the floor under the carpet that's actually open to the outside - it runs the whole length of the dining room!). I'm just glad we're not going to be on the street - now we just need to get most of our stuff into storage in the next couple of weeks. Thankfully our piano teacher is going to give my son a "scholarship" until we get back on our feet again - so that's a huge relief...
