Today we celebrate our oldest son's 18th birthday. We are amazed at what a fine young man you have become. Our hearts swell with pride when we see you daily make good decisions, work diligently at your new job, and diligently at finishing up these last few months of high school! How could it be that 18 years flew by in an instant? We remember that 60 degree blustery day when you were born. How unusual in the midst of a Vermont winter! We remember the beautiful rainbow that adorned the sky that January 14th 1992. And you have always been as bright as that rainbow. We now pray that God will continue to light your path as you continue make this beautiful journey called life.

My oldest turns 18 in May. I know it is cliche but how the time flies.
