No to this book...

Not recommended...The Bartimaeus Trilogy  by Jonathan Stroud.  Thankfully due to this book review by A  Catholic Mom's Guide to Books (click above) I can say that the books by Stroud are NOT recommended.  I am just so thankful that I could read this review.  Do we actually need a "genie" like character tormenting boys with pictures of naked women?  Actually, the demon summoning is thumbs down and down right creepy.  My husband read through it and said, "Very dark."  Not appropriate!
